1. Who we are

Angelfish Pocket Pal is operated by Angelfish Studio. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Angelfish Studio, and "the App" refers to Angelfish Pocket Pal.

If you have questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at woyugemini@gmail.com.

2. Information we do not collect

The App is designed as a light companion experience. We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location to use the App.

We do not sell personal information. We do not display third-party ads. We do not collect the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not use App Tracking Transparency tracking for advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. Information stored on your device

The App stores some settings locally on your device so the experience works across the main app, widgets, Lock Screen, Control Center, Dynamic Island, and Picture in Picture.

  • Your selected companion and companion state.
  • App preferences, such as language, motion, and display choices.
  • Recent interaction commands used to sync app surfaces.
  • Purchase entitlement status, so unlocked features can be shown consistently.

You can remove this local data by deleting the App from your device. Some purchase records may remain available through Apple so purchases can be restored.

4. Information collected through app analytics and diagnostics

We use Firebase services from Google to understand whether the App is working properly and to improve the product. These services may collect app usage, device, diagnostics, and performance information, such as:

Category Examples Purpose
App usage App opened, onboarding progress, selected companion, selected display mode, companion interactions, paywall views, purchase events, restore events. Understand which features are used and improve the user experience.
Device and app information App version, build number, locale, operating system, and device-related technical information provided by Firebase. Debug problems, measure compatibility, and prioritize fixes.
Crash and performance diagnostics Crash reports, performance traces, app startup information, and related technical diagnostics. Find crashes, slow areas, and reliability issues.

We do not intentionally log account email addresses, real names, phone numbers, precise location, or message content in our analytics events.

5. Purchases

The App uses Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems for subscriptions and in-app purchases. Apple processes payments and manages billing information. We do not receive your credit card number or full payment details.

We may receive and store product identifiers, transaction status, and entitlement status so the App can unlock paid features and restore purchases.

6. Support messages

If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device model, app version, screenshots, logs, or a description of the issue.

We use support information only to respond to you, investigate issues, improve the App, and keep a record of support history where reasonably necessary.

  • Provide and maintain the App.
  • Sync companion actions across supported iOS surfaces.
  • Process purchases and restore paid access.

8. When information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App, including Google Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring, and Apple for App Store purchases.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.

9. Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App. Analytics, crash, and performance data are retained according to our Firebase and Google Analytics settings and Google's applicable policies. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, operational, and legal purposes.
